ICF REXwall 7+ DIST + 10 (K<0,195)

The ICF REXwall system consists of two permanent formworks in Expanded Sintered Polystyrene (EPS), the thickness of the internal one measures 7 cm and the external , 10 cm.
The panels can be easily assembled directly at the construction site with the help of specific spacers made of recycled plastic material or stainless steel. In this way the formworks can be created according to the structural needs of every single project. The panels are assembled together in a reversible way, in order to reduce the installation time and the amount of waste. The spacers have the function of accommodating the horizontal interlocking rebars and consequently facilitating the insertion of the vertical reinforcing bars. All the spacers must be mechanically hooked to the EPS panel, to eliminate the risk that the formworks lift up during the casting process. The internal surface with dovetail vertical sections is created appositely for a perfect settling of the concrete. The external surface has vertical grooves and a particular full-height honeycomb pattern, that guarantee the adhesion of the superficial plaster layer. The writing “ICF REXwall” highlights the 2,5 cm vertical support bar.

SYSTEM FEATURES

ICF REXwall technology is the result of a considerable study made by the Rexpolgroup designers that led to the development of various products, then patented, each one with its specific characteristics. This has been achieved after detailed studies and significant tests, run not only in laboratory. In fact we have often created experimental modules to test the different structural and architectural features, as well as the performances of each product. In this way the intrinsic qualities of the product automatically become advantages for the manufacturer, in terms of time saved, and for the end-user, in terms of well-being and energy  saved.

BENEFITS OF THE  ICF REXWALL SYSTEM

Here are some benefits that you may have the use of the ICF system REXwall:

  • The monolithic load-bearing ICF REXwall walls built with a continuous structure, have the best possible behavior also thanks to the lightness of the elements composing the system.
  • The concrete inside the EPS elements, provides the best possible performance during all its life.
  • The system is defined eco-friendly accordingly to the most important global regulations, such as LEED. It guarantees the reduction of the amount of materials used at the construction site, the reuse of materials, the observance of high quality standards and the concrete effort to be as green as possible.

THE COMPONENTS OF THE SYSTEM

The ICF REXwall System is characterized by a complete set of modular elements, among which the Jolly Pannel, the spacer and the multi-section tracks represent the fundamental parts.

The ICF REXwall system consists of a complete set of permanent formworks in Expanded Polystyrene (EPS). The panels can be easily assembled directly on the construction site using special spacers made of recycled plastic materials; the formworks can be customized accordingly to the structural needs of every specific project. The panels are assembled together in a reversible way, in order to reduce the installation time and the amount of waste created during the process. The spacers are created to strategically optimize the installation and the interlocking of the horizontal reinforcing bars, and to facilitate the subsequent insertion of the vertical reinforcing bars. During the installation process all the spacers are mechanically joined to the EPS panels in order to eliminate the chance that formworks accidentally lift up during the casting process. jolly
The track is presented as a multi-section plastic element, with a particular geometry, that is merged into the Expanded Polystyrene panels of the ICF REXwall system.
The multi-section track is fundamental because, among other things, it prevents the swelling and subsidence of the elements during the concrete casting process, allowing the locking of the spacers, thus avoiding them slipping downwards. The track allows the creation of the needed concrete section, hooking vertically together all the elements of the system and anchoring, if required, the internal finishing and the plasterboard.

The spacer guarantees the endurance of the system and determines the internal thickness of the reinforced concrete wall. In addition to this, the spacer is necessary to accommodate the horizontal reinforcing bars. Each type of spacer makes possible to obtain three different masonry thicknesses, depending on the positioning inside the multi-section track eyelets: in this way with a single spacer it is possible to obtain three different masonry thicknesses. Each spacer is also geared with hooks that automatically stop at the multi-section track once inserted; this guarantees the endurance of the system during the casting process, avoiding the “lift-up” problem. distanziatore
